EcoQuest provides professional ecological monitoring services for local councils, restoration trusts, NGOs, landowners and land managers. Our extensive experience ranges from species-specific work to ecosystem-management approaches. We have an established track record conducting ecological monitoring since 1999, in a variety of ecosystems, from the mountains to the sea.

EcoQuest offers courses that fit with its vision: Catalysts for Sustainability. We have a strong focus on ecology, food systems, and sustainable resource management. Our interdisciplinary approach typically considers different aspects of our natural and built environments (including culture, socio-economic and political). Our place-based education suits a diversity of learners.

EcoQuest is committed to good environmental outcomes. Community engagement is essential in all aspects of learning and research. We have well-established relationships with many people and entities close to the Whakatiwai Field Centre and in the Top of the South. When travelling for courses and programs, we reach out for genuine engagement to contribute to local communities.
